MERRY CHRISTMAS
you old fart!!!
Keep smilin' ya' old fart!
Hello Gary,
I did tell him that all of us here at Ihub still think about him often. I am sure he knew you are one of them special people.
Here is Walt's email back to me to share with the others here too.
Dear Karen, nice to hear form some one that misses Ron. Today I will help celebrate his sons birthday
John and his wife shelly are coming out to he farm and have a little lavation and Play some cards .
His daughter and her girls are doing fine in San Jose. Karen is working for the county as a court recorder.
I miss Ron terrible and know yesterday was the day of his passing Aug 15th . Smokey is still with me and
provides most of the company I have. Not much fishing lately but hope soon to join a mutual friend of Ron
and I for some Salmon fishing. God Bless you and all his friends, Hugs Walt
I am interested, and please give my best regards to Walt. I had the pleasure of sharing one of Ron and I's burger meetings at the blues bar with Walt.
I can't believe how much I still miss Ron, I imagine that I always will. I had noticed that Ron and I spoke to each online everyday until my wake greeting was not in my PMs. We often on the phone as well. We would have been up on the mountain shooting together early on in the beginning of the Summer would now be waiting for the cooler days of early Fall to do one mountain shoot for the year. Ron was truly a great friend, he was one of those types you only meet once in life.
I still miss him very much. ~ Gary
I kept this post I am replying to so that I can remind the regulars here of Rons anniversary.
It's been 3 years, and I will always miss that ornery, sarcastic, sweet hearted man.
Cheers to Ronaldo
I always email Walt his best bud to wish him well and see how he's doing and he gets back to me. I will post what he says, I mean if anyone is interested
Hey old buddy, your boys are heading to the Super Bowl. I'm picking them to win. Want to stay on your good side.
Happy New Year Ron!
TY, Ron is still very much on my mind and in my heart.
Gary - Great idea!
Oh Yeah, and I'm trying to get together some of the old crew to go out to the Blues Club where we had our lunches and having a toast in his honor to bring in the new year.
Forever One,
Gary ~~~ U darn well know he's watching us all!
Far Out man, Far Out!!!
Happy Vets Day ~~~ you old fart!

BullNBear.. that is probably the nicest post I have ever seen you compose.
Yes, Phil and Ron were both 'bull' headed (lol), but likable.
You, on the other hand...
J/K
Thanks for posting such a nice post.
Dave
mnfats... Oh my GOSH, YES!
I truly loved reading you two posting to each other!
None of us ever know how much time we have. I sorta felt like Ron would outlive me.
SIGH! But, I know he is up in heaven negotiating for only DODGE CARS to be allowed in NASCAR RACES!
I miss the ole galoot already!!!
Dave
Well said. As I die hard MOPAR man I am well of aware of Phil's love of Chevy's. What a twist, I now own a Chevy.
He and Phil used to fight like cats and dogs over Chevy vs Dodge etc. There was no loved lost between the two of them and often I would end up being the referee.
I can picture the two of them now going at it all over again only this time St Pete is refereeing instead of me.
God bless St Pete. He has his work cut out for him.
Same here, my day usually started with a PM of "GM Gary," and things just won't be same without it. Sometime we shared as many as ten or more PM's day, then there were the posts.
Devastating news. Hard to believe he's gone. We had such good times sparing with one another. There is going to be a large void in my life. I will miss him.
I like it too, thanks for posting it.
Favorite Quote "The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour. Now is the only time you own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in time. For the clock may soon be still."
TY! He truly was a MOPAR Man. Ron had another Prowler that was Purple and had a customer Prowler trailer. His latest car was Awesome MOPAR10R/T Challenger; again, one of 500.
TY for finding and posting this.
Love The Quote!
