I believe the suit was to go against the individuals involved in trying to stop the merger, especially via the filing for an injunction against Jeff, and probably the letter of refusal to merge. Perhaps he was meaning if harm was done by losing the merger because of these actions.
Owens did sound like he would try to recover what moneys he could for quasar, but there may also be lawsuits for the harm these men have done to shareholders and the company itself over the years with their false PR's and "old debt wraps" and money going to personal accounts instead of company accounts, also titles going to personal accounts instead of company accounts.
On Joe C., he now says that he was repaid the money from Equus, but before he said that the preferreds he claims are from Equus merger agreement, and the shares were given because of money owed. So, if the money debt was cleared, then what is his claim to the preferreds from Equus?
