I didn't even say that much. I didn't libel him in any way, and there was most certainly no malice involved.

But again, how can any of us offer an affirmative defense to such vague allegations?

Besides, maybe if he approached this in a different manner, maybe some of the DOES wouldn't be so harsh with their "word choice".

For starters, if the posts he made in his own defense hadn't contained personal attacks, they wouldn't have been deleted, and we could simply have asked him questions and given him a chance to present his side, whatever that may be.
