Awk--I did NOT argue a TPM per se. I argued Embassy Firmware embedded on the XBOX Xenon chip. How could this chip with embedded security not be compatible with Longhorn(TPMs)? Non-compatibiity with Longhorn seems absurd.

One of the reasons it is tough to debate the is(b8sues is thatthe alternative solutions are really not known (but could exist)and so you get answers like maybe its a proprietary solution that we haven't heard about yet.

For me I am waiting for Winhec to conclude. If Wave is implicated in any of this, hopefully we'll learn about it explicitly. You know like Wave and Microsoft are forming a strategic partnership to address the consumer media space using Seagates trusted hard drives, Xbox paltform and TVTonic.Amen
