We know from Biomaven's post on stroke...these numbers are simply not big enough to offer significance when the incidence is this low.

Actually, the JELIS reduction in stroke risk was statisg in the secondary-prevention subgroup (HR= 0.80; 95% CI [0.64, 0.997] as per biomaven’s post); however, the method incorporated Cox regression using parameters that may not have been prespecified.

The LP-PLA2 test Dew mentions...LP-PLA2 increased levels have been show to be stat sig predictive of all cause mortality (a classic large group) yet because the CV mortality group is smaller and does not show stat sig the test is not recommended as a predictive test. Even though experts agree LP-PLA2 is the very heart of AS inflammation.

Does this mean I get partial credit on the quiz answer? :- )
