Dave...NVSR is really a nice story. The U.S. Department of Transportations Safety division (FMCSA) is requiring that some trucks install an Electronic On Board Recorder (EOBR) in their trucks to keep track of drivers hours of service. They just proposed a new rule on Jan 31st that would require every truck that drives interstate in the U.S. to have one installed. If/when it becomes final, that will mean 18 million trucks will need an EOBR.
An EOBR ranges from $999 (NVSR's) up to $3,000 (one of Qualcomms versions). So at $1000, and 18 million trucks, that's an $18 billion EOBR market. If NVSR gets even 0.10% of that market (one tenth of 1%), it's $18 million in sales, plus recurring monthly service fees.
Oh, and the market cap right now is under $700,000!
