I, for one, would like to know more details on the Acer deal. Maybe Nokia will become less of a factor once Acer deal is explained in more detail
Your not alone in wanting to know details on ACER as I would guess everyone here would like to know the same.
Acer is a huge company and has huge expectations about their products that use IDCC's IPR. My best guess is this deal is for a per unit basis with no money for past infringement. I say that because if it was a fixed fee I think a 8-K would have been afforded.
As investors we may get a few tidbits in the 10-K but I doubt it. We should also watch filings by ACER and look for IDCC comments.
No need for you to think Nokia is less of a factor as they produce a lot of product using IDCC's IPR.
IMO our mangement team gave a lot of great deals and it's time to hold firm.
