I'm one of those people who believes news does not cause drops in indices. I believe news only speeds up a process that's already in motion. Why do you think stocks rally on bad news? They rally because it means nothing, just like it should when they drop on bad news. Most every move in the bear has been technical, buys, sells, etc. Until that trend changes, it needs to be respected.
