I'm not sure how much of the BullDozer launch is already priced into the stock if any...
I'm sure there are those out there that think being long both stocks is a bit absurd, but, I honestly believe that both stocks are potentially going to do well.
If BullDozer is launched and happens to be well recieved, AMD could pop $15-$20 points. And even in this scenario, I think that Intel could also shoot up to $25-$30 as it starts to pull some rabbits out of the hat.
If BullDozer is a dud, then, it'll be a better dud than what they've got now and will likely improve profitability going out several quarters. I'd look for a pop between $10-$12 After that, AMD would probably start to drift lower again as Intel ratchets up the heat. In this scenario, Intel pops to $30-$35.
If BullDozer doesn't launch, then, AMD will most likely start holding a fire sale and sell off as much of the company as it can...
