In general, Intel chips and some performance results get leaked long before product introduction. It has been this way for AMD in the past too. Stuff doesn't get leaked, though, if it isn't that great.
BD is supposed to ship this summer.
I would expect leaked performance results and maybe some company demos of the product by now. The absence would be a concern to me after watching these two companies for about six years.
