Rocky. I have never been provided a specific date for release of anything. The conversations I have had with Tom have always led me to believe that they have "hopeful" time frames (not specific dates). I personally believe that the AMST team simply ran into a business cultural gap between Histostem and AMST. If this were one train running down the track it would be easier to control. What we have is two vastly different business cultures embedded between Histostem and Amstem trying to market Histostem into the N. American market. If the prize is lucrative enough, they will stay the course and "work it out." IMO they are progressing favorably, just not on a timetable that we're used to. It's almost as if the merger needed a S. Korean on the team who was a savvy N. American businessman to bridge the gap between the two cultures to help Histostem adjust the way they conduct their business with respect to Amstem. Maybe I simply accept this cultural dilemma as the root cause of AMST problems because I lived overseas for several years and understand just how powerful culture can be. I also posted a response recently I received from Dwight that spells it out pretty clearly. The only thing we can all do at this point is wait for things to unfold.
If you're trying to rouse the natives up for an attack, you can count me out. IMO based on my own evaluation of the situation, is that all parties involved are conducting themselves with professionalism and character, and they are doing their utmost to unlock the value in Histostem. This is currently a high risk investment that hopefully will become a blockbuster trade for me as the various issues get resolved.
Have you ever missed a business deadline in your working life? Just imagine how difficult it would be to complete projects if you were dealing with someone that you didn't understand at all and that you could not clearly communicate with. Very frustrating indeed...much more so for the players at AMST than for retail shareholders (IMO).
