Wow that is sick....some people really got robbed yet nobody will go to jail...sad

Ameritrade changed its margin terms on CCME this afternoon and I'm hearing it jumped from 30% to 80% and I know a couple of guys that had CCME stock sold out from under them without their knowing.

I confirmed with Ameritrade that they increased the margin requirement on CCME to 80% this afternoon.

Also, I asked them what happens to options during a halt, as I sold some March puts this afternoon. Options are halted too, of course, but they can still be exercised at any time. If exercised, the recorded value of the shares put to me during a halt would be the last traded price.

You were ok with the last response from CCME to the Citron hit piece. How do you think they should respond to this one? How can CCME get clear of these shorts?

Im not on margin with CCME, but I do have an account with TDA and I can say from experience that they will change the requirements per stock on you - try to call you - and if they do not get you on the first try will close all or part of your position within 5 minutes. They have done this to me - on a stock that 30 minutes later was back in a green position... Got to love em.
