yeah, got a maintenance call from TDA today, small, but waited for the pop and closed out some options to cover it. I do not use margin, but the maintenance req reached out and bit me.
Now then, let's get the price over 14.2 and I am green, lol
No .... Ameritrade will definitely not call you first .......
"Im not on margin with CCME, but I do have an account with TDA and I can say from experience that they will change the requirements per stock on you - try to call you - and if they do not get you on the first try will close all or part of your position within 5 minutes. They have done this to me - on a stock that 30 minutes later was back in a green position... Got to love em."
