This is the same family who invited me to a meeting at their Mosque shortly after 9/11 - it was a packed house. I offered to wear a headscarf out of respect, but my neighbor said it was not necessary - I did anyhow. A northern NJ newspaper (The Bergen Record) interviewed me...and to one of my son's surprise, when he picked up his Bergen Record his mom was on the front page!
