Heat dissipation I think is also the key to LED's. Although the pound for pound they don't get as hot as normal bulbs, the fact that they are a light source concentrated in such a small surface area doesn't spread out the heat. The concentration of heat can shorten the life of the bulb. Although I've used older Cree products some years back, I've got a new camp lantern with a Cree bulb and it looks like a supernova.
I'm with you on the commercial fixture thing. I might be ready to buy back in now according to the chart it looks like a good entry. I bought 500 shares of SPTN at 14.80 and 1250 EGLE at 4.05. They could be decent plays.
