incidentally SNY's sales would be unaffected by channel stuffing by nvs, and they earned about 215M less in Q3 2010 in the US than they did in Q3 2009 - and they had 4 weeks without generic competition in the quarter to boot. so unless end user sales went down sharply for nvs quarter over quarter (IMS data refutes this), or discounting went up sharply (mnta denies heavier discounting and it makes no sense from an economic dynamic perspective for a duopoly), or the market shrank significantly (lovneox grew 5% on average ex-US, and SNY estimates generic cost them 208M euro in sales for the quarter, so the market didn't shrink by volume), nvs must be wrong
