what I am about to say will be unpopular, I know, but...
As both Catz and I have mentioned previously, the EC hired the firm and I am quite sure that it was made clear to them at the time that there would be a team working on our case. It is as much a mistake to believe that Nelson operates in a vacuum on this as it is to believe that Steve has to be there himself to make this work. I know we want him to be there, but if his forte is litigation, then he is not the right man for this part of the process.
I don't know what their strategy is, but having worked for most of my career in a business that was equally ripe for second guessing, I am choosing to have faith in their process and in their team. Highly paid lawyers get that way because they win. He no more wants this to be a losing case than we do, of that I am sure.
(In the meantime...this is only my opinion...don't shoot the messenger, etc, etc.)
