Flood Watch In Effect Saturday Night Until Monday
Our warm temperatures continue with highs approaching 60 degrees.....but it's going to be very wet. Several inches of rain expected, with heavy rain moving in by this afternoon and evening. Here in the valley we could see close to 2.5'' of rain. On the coast up to 4" and in the Cascades a half foot of rain is in the forecast.
All the rain combined with a melting snow pack will cause rivers to rise rapidly. Starting tonight a flood watch has been issued for all of Western Oregon and Southwest Washington. Many rivers and streams are at risk of flooding as well.
