Corp, let's face it, you don't have the intimate knowledge necessary to really make informed decisions about running a wireless company nor what the competition is paying. Nobody on this board really knows but you keep acting as if you do and you keep posting your opinions day after day. No amount of cost control at this point is going to impact our stock price appreciably. You just don't want to face that fact.
Our entire future rests on the Nokia decision, we win, and the costs, even IF they were excessive and I am not saying they are, wont matter one bit. We lose then it wont matter much either because the street will punish us severely. If we happen to lose, then the costs should be reigned in and the company will need to go into survival mode once again, just like they did after the Motorola debacle.
Right now the company should be investing in its people because it is its people that will create new technology that will hopefully be essential in the next generation of wireless. Without investments in personnel, the company would wither and die.
