i think the idea is to capture 50% market share by revenue, which at 14% discount to branded would be 55% or so by volume
also bear in mind hosptial and outpt Rx may not track perfectly, and outpt pricing a bit higher than hospital so margins a bit better so if you're going to take a bt more market share somewhere you want to take it in the outpt segment
i think they (mnta/sandoz) knows what they are doing and are wary of sparking a price war
