Don't look for Rheingold Beer to be the sponsor of Atlanta Braves games any time soon, but the beer that made a name for itself as the sponsor of the fledgling New York Mets in the 1960s hopes to hit one out of the park with its newest distributor in Georgia.

Wilton-based Drinks Americas Holdings Ltd., owner of the Rheingold brand, has connected with Savannah Distributing Co., which distributes alcoholic beverages throughout Georgia. It shipped its first container of 2,000 cases Thursday.

Joe Nanna, Savannah Distributing general manager, researched how well a beer with a deep metropolitan New York heritage would be accepted in the Deep South before contacting Patrick Kenney, president and chief executive officer of Drinks Americas, which launched Rheingold in 2010.

"My first reaction was, besides my being from the Bronx, how many Georgians are going to relate to Rheingold," Nanna said. "After speaking to consumers and retailers, preliminary street indications for our rollout are very exciting. A good-tasting beer with a great New York history will sell. The retro timing couldn't be better."

The arrival in Georgia is part of a strategy to sell the beer up and down the eastern seaboard and into the Midwest. Besides Georgia, Rheingold is now being sold in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, and there are plans to extend the reach to Ohio, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan and Florida.

The beer should be available in the latter two states by the end of the month.

"Distributors are calling us," Kenny said. "We're willing to ship it and give it a shot. There are plenty of New Yorkers in Florida."

He cited the popularity of Brooklyn Lager as an example of how a beer with New York roots can be accepted by beer drinkers across the country.

Drinks America has tweaked the original recipe to match modern tastes, Kenny said, adding that Rheingold is brewed at Lion Brewing in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Marketing will be crucial for Rheingold's success because it is an American lager, like its competition -- the major national breweries in the United States, said Julie Johnson, editor of All About Beers in Durham, N.C.

"It has a great story. The only place they can compete is in its history. I'd do something to bring back the Miss Rheingold contest," she said, referring to the beauty contest Rheingold promoted during its heyday a half-century ago.

Kenny, who started Drinks Americas six years ago, is banking on the potential of Rheingold to help elevate the company's shares from the depths of the over-the-counter penny stock category. Drinks Americas closed in Thursday trading at 1 cent per share.

"We think it has tremendous value," he said.

The company, which also produces Willie Nelson's Old Whiskey River Bourbon, Trump Super Premium Vodka, Olifant Vodka and Aguila Tequila, reported net sales of about $144,000 in the second quarter ended Oct. 31, 2010, compared with $15,000 for the same period in 2009. Sales of Rheingold in the second quarter of 2010 were $106,000. Drinks Americas' loss for the quarter narrowed to $850,000, from $1.64 million in the year-ago period.

Michelex Corporation (PINKSHEETS: MLXO) ("Michelex") CEO Mr. Albert Lacle' has announced plans to open a pharmaceutical production facility on County Route 42 in Massena, NY. Pristine Pharma Corporation ("Pristine"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Michelex Corp., is planning to produce Cough Syrups, Pain Relievers, Nasal Sprays and other liquid OTC medicines under store brand labels, and also its own label, "NuMed," in this 30,000 sq. ft facility. Pristine Pharma Corp. was founded in 2009 and became a subsidiary of the Michelex Corp. in July 2010.

The Massena, NY facility may open as soon as February 2011 according to Pristine Pharma Corp. CEO Mr. Venkat Kakani. As of today, contracts have been awarded and the construction work has been progressing as per schedule. Mr. Kakani said that owning our own facility is designed to allow the business to increase revenues and margins by manufacturing our own products.

Mr. Kakani plans to begin production with a staff of 25 people and expects 70 to 80 percent of those to be local hires. The company wants to expand and raise employment to 100 people and it is seeking St. Lawrence County and NY State assistance to accomplish it. Mr. Kakani has been talking with the St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency (SLCIDA) to coordinate this effort. SLCIDA Director Ray Fountain described the talks as "moving forward" but "preliminary."

The Company's products are currently contract manufactured at federally registered pharmaceutical plants in New Jersey and New York and then distributed domestically, and to countries all over the world.

Domestic clients include the nation's largest pharmacies like: Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid; Regional pharmacies like Kinney Drugs; and Supermarkets like Publix, Price Choppers and Walmart Stores, Inc.

Mr. Kakani said many of their medicines are for Canadian store brands as well, which made the Massena location ideal. The close proximity to the St. Lawrence Seaway will also allow the Company to ship its goods more easily to large markets. Mr. Kakani said he sells a lot of medicines to Canada, Russia and the Ukraine so Massena made strategic sense. "The ports in Montreal are easy access so my customers save a lot of money."

MY PICK IS DEGH .0025 $$$$$$$$. My reasons for picking DEGH are as follows

1)DEGH closed down 58%. When it hit .0025 I tried to load the boat, but the MM's only gave me a tiny partial fill on DEGH at that price. And I sat at .0025 for 5 hours at .0025 after that and never got filled. Bottom bouncer alert.

2)DEGH only has 50 million o/s and yet it is at an astonishing price of .0025, extremely rare to find a stock with an o/s that low at this price. If anyone can find a stock at .0025 and below with such a tiny o/s like DEGH, let me know and I will load the boat on that as well (you wont find one... ok u could but it would be EXTREMELY difficult).

3)DEGH was at .0148 just 2 weeks ago.

4)DEGH has not released any PR recently but if you look at the most recent 10k for DEGH, it states that they are performing a joint venture; This has not even been PR'd yet.

DEGH is a true no brainer at this level. GO DEGH GO!!! ENJOY.

The Tweezers candle pattern consists of two or more candles with matching highs or lows (Tweezers Top and Tweezers Bottom). The name comes from the appearance of their formation, looking similar to a pair of tweezers - and the can occur in a variety of formats - see the illustration below, however their highs or lows will always be the same.

A tweezers pattern should preferrably have the first candle with a long real body - the colour of this will depend on if it is a rising or falling market. The second candle is where the variation can take place as this could be a Hanging Man, a Shooting star, a Harami Cross or a Dark Cloud Cover for a Tweezers top. Or a Hammer, a Harami Cross or a Piercing Pattern for Tweezers bottom. However the one thing they must have is an equal high point for Tweezers top and an equal low point for Tweezers bottom.

As well as being a reversal pattern, Tweezers top and bottom can also be continutation signal. This happens when - say, in the middle of an uptrend you find a Tweezers bottom occuring. The stock/index will 'rest' and consolidate for a while mid way up the trend and in doing this may form a Tweezers bottom. It is at this point that a signal is given to buy into that stock before it starts to resume its upward trend. In other words the Tweezers bottom has formed an intermediate line of support from which the stock/index will bounce upwards.

With a doji there is no (or a very small) real body as it is formed because the buyers could not exert enough bullish pressure to push the price higher than the open, and the sellers could not exert enough bearish pressure to make the price go lower than the open. In essence the doji represents indecision.

Doji come in several varieties as well, there is the standard doji - metioned here, as well as the Gravestone and the Dragonfly Doji, both of which have their individual characteristics.

The doji is often represented as a sign of a turning market. While it is common to see a doji at a market top or bottom, it is not wise to use it alone as a turning signal. Indecision means exactly that, the market is unsure of its future direction - therefore it should only be used as a warning, not a stand-alone signal. If the doji appears at previous support or resistance it is more likely to signal a potential reversal, however it occasionally appears out of the blue, and this should signal caution to the trader - but positions should not be liquidated without further confirmation. A common way to use this signal in an uptrend would be to use a close under the low of the doji to signal a top, and a close above the high of the doji to signal continuation, with the reverse for a downtrend.
