Like you say...take it with a grain of salt. I’m sure he is just putting 2&2 together and coming up with his own ideas of why it’s taking so long to get FAI out. I too can see how BVHJ could be blowing smoke up our rears to make it sound nice and pretty. Look at it this way (granted these people have a lot more money but the idea is the same) SONY pictures put out Spiderman 2 inside of 2 years and that is a very much larger picture than FAI with (what looks like) very little special effects, the special effects take forever to get right and they sis it in 2 years time. FAI is no where near that kind of complexity. I should of been done a long time ago, I was going to be released last Turkeyday but that’s when all the problems started and it was postponed. I honestly believe that it's done; its just waiting on ego's to be satisfied.
I said nothing about fighting over rights either. I just said there IS fighting. FAI is NOT complete. That's a fact. I was told by the Company that BJ is part of the team to finish it and sell it. How can anything get done effectively when the two sides are not getting along?
The film was supposed to be released in Feb. One reason I can see why they might not have stamped it with "Final" yet is because they don't want the date of the final cut to be a year old by the time they sell/release it. But as time goes by it will loose some appeal IMO.
