Just because he isn't posting doesn't mean that he doesn't read it. If I had been posting frequently on a board for a long time and then had to (or chose to) stop, I would still read it for sure. Especially with such a previously large stake in the company. Don't know for sure, but I guess that it is good you are so concerned for him and his interests.
I personally feel that most of the "dirt" thrown on the board in the past had to do with people attacking others who posted positive things...
