About Cannes
Cannes is one of the oldest and most prestigious film festivals. But since the early days of Cannes, people started selling films during the festival on the side. Hence a market sprung up at the same time as the festival, thereby creating the Cannes international sales market. When people talk about "taking a movie to Cannes" they usually mean the market, not the festival. the festival proper is a competition for art films.
This is the web site for the market:
http://www.cannesmarket.com/

Judging by the trailer, I doubt any of the filmmakers every intended to enter "Forget About It" in the film festival, but rather to sell it at the market. Not that it's a bad film, but it's obviously a commercial film.

It is pretty obvious that BJ Davis does not write on this board anymore and I seriously doubt that he reads it. Not a classy move on your part to bash him behind his back. He does respond to inquiries at BevHlsFilmStudio@aol.com; I wrote him and he wrote me back right away. If you really want answers, I suggest you ask him. If you are only interested in bashing, keep it up. Everyone on this board is very good at that. I hope you realize that your assumptions are just that - assumptions; until you get the facts. Seeing what is happening with the company, it is rather naive to think that one person (who is no longer with the company) is single-handedly responsible for the delay.

And in other news, Burt Reynolds, 92, has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and is denying having ever worked with the late, great actor Charles Durning in spite of Beverly Hills Films Studios' fourth new website claiming otherwise. Details are sketchy, but sources say the Company is close to an agreement with an almost-famous director and former CEO of the company who has the ability to prove Mr. Reynolds wrong but for unexplained reasons has not. According to those sources, the agreement includes a stipulation whereas actress Raquel Welch, 87, shall be granted the right to dog collar and b!%# slap the director on the red carpet at the premier Welch's and Reynolds new movie, titled "I Forget About What I Forgot About?"
