The US should never have gone into Korea - for all the US lives lost, we gained nothing...If you read anything about the Korean war you'd know many times our military leaders in Korea mislead the pols in Wash DC, and Gen MacArthur who was in charge of our Korean effort never stepped one foot in Korea - he "lead the charge" from Japan.
