Hi Karin. I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to interact with Dwight Brunoehler before he became Pres AMST. As I have indicated before he is the only reason I still hold this issue. I am very fortunate to have an open line of communications with both Hawke and Dwight. Together, Dwight and Hawke make a powerful team than can move Amstem forward. I do, however, prefer to honor the chain of command and communicate with IR rather than clutter Mr. Brunoehler's inbox with frustrating messages about the company's silence. Progress is being made. Patience is key. On that note, I would like to post an e-mail I received from Tom Fox just today. It is a combination of an answer I received from Dwight and then modified by Tom. Please do not expect anything other than silence from the company other than this e-mail that I was given approval to repost here. They cannot say anything about their on-going efforts at this time. Just know that in my opinion we have a world class team working for your investment in Amstem. Here it is:
Just a few comments in addition to Dwight's. It should be clear to you by now that Dwight inherited a few issues that were unexpected... Despite what I see written by certain board "posters", and hear from others, we are all fortunate to have Dwight's leadership during this time. Once we can proceed, he and I intend on working very closely together and openly with the Amstem shareholders as we did when he first took his position with the company. For the time being (hopefully not too much longer) we cannot release any information. Once we can move forward, the goal is simple: With Dwight's leadership and unparalled strength in the stem cell banking arena, and business skills, combined with the current products and certain patents that attracted him to the company in the first place, Amstem has the potential to become a major global player in the stem cell arena. That is STILL the goal.
If these potentials did not still exist, then neither Dwight nor Hawk would be involved. Unfortunately, in the meantime the stock is where it is. That is the market. I have to deal with it just like you or any other shareholder. All I ask for now is that we respect what he is doing and continue to be patient. When information can be released, be assured that Amstem's IR firm will be in place and delivering that information. Until then, Let's try to be supportive. Like you, I hope this "quiet period" will soon be over and I can get back to representing the company from the IR perspective.
I wish you a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season. Sure feels like winter here in beautiful Key Largo this week! All the best.
