corson, VFIN is obviously the axe here, even if they sometimes stand a few clicks back from the top of the ask. The fact that they are ALWAYS there, and ALWAYS lowering their ask, is sign that they are selling continuously. VFIN does not need to be at the top of the ask to sell shares. They can hit the bid and no one would know it. Fact is, they have shares to sell and they'll sell them whether people buy them from them, or they have to sell at bid.
LFBG raised their o/s from 2.9B to 4.46B somewhere between the end of the last Q and T-Day. That's appox. 1.5B shares they sold to an investment banker for who knows how much. Rest assured though, it was at a steep discount, as that's the way it is with IBs.
That means that along with all the other normal buying and selling, this IB has 1.5B shares of his own to sell. The sooner this IB can sell them, the sooner he can move on to the next. However, as long as this IB can get a premium for his shares, he's in no great hurry. That's why sometimes you'll see stocks dive hard in 2-3 days, and some only slow-bleed s/h's to death.
The 'story' here is 'so good' that the IB's just bleed the koolaid drinkers to death.
Virtually no one can argue me, 'cause I'm spot on.
