Omega Trust was a fraud that was run in the late 1990's out of the Midwest. Its creator, Clyde Hood, amazingly promised that he could turn $100.00 into $5,000.00 in 270 days.
Even after Mr. Hood was sent to the happy Federal Camp for people who do those things, its "true believers" insisted that the whole thing would fund once a few roadblocks and regulatory issues were taken care of. Many of them drifted over into the NESARA cult, where they persist to this day in their belief that Omega will fund once a few evil government officials who have stopped it up are removed.
The moral: EIGH won't be finished for decades. Even after it is delisted and the Monkster is running his "Monkinars" from Trinidad in order to avoid a Federal indictment, there will be true believers who will keep the faith. Of course, that is less an investment matter and more a matter of the psychology of cults, but EIGH is pretty much there already.
