Newly, I do believe it is Thira on Santorini. I was there once upon a time. You know Greece better than I, I only traveled through.
For those who do not know, Santorini is a volcanic crescent shaped island, a member of the Cyclades island group, with dramatic cliffs on the Thira side, with Thira sitting high over the sea, and amazing black volcanic beaches on the other side (imagine small waves and white foam breaking on black sand - beautiful).
