Depends on if TPM 1.2 will be available. I agree with the "bashers" that it will require TPM1.2s to get this train into second gear, then third. But TC will remain in first gear, idling speed, with TPM 1.1.
What's interesting to me is the announcements by Intel at IDF a few weeks ago. They displayed the LaGrande and Virtualization technologies (which are both TCG-centric technologies and LaGrande requires TPM1.2 specifically). Additionally, they announced their Digital Office Platforms and Entertainment platforms, all of which contain TPM 1.2 chips.
NTRU, Atmel and STMicro all announced TPM1.2 solutions 6-12 months ago. nVidia and VIA both announced TPM1.2 supporting chipsets recently. With the Intel information of TPM 1.2 platforms now in the public domain, I can't imagine it being a year before these platforms are available. I would imagine it being about 4-6 months, putting us into the summer. So Q3 seems to be on track for the elbow of the hockey stick, moving Wave off the blade, onto the shaft. If not, we get shafted for another quarter or two...LOL
There will still be another financing, as well, imo.
