Perhaps the revenue numbers were also a factor, but I don't believe that the bulk of investors here are sweating over differences in pennies per share in net profits at this juncture. IMO most eyes are on the hunt for the big game; and today was a day that some people may have been thinking either we get an announcement today, or we are back to waiting another couple of months, and they bailed at fire sale prices rather than wait. There was also the rumor that a settlement announcemnt would be made just prior to earnings, maybe some believed that and were holding for just that reason. Just my opinion.
