GL 2 U'll!

Current Temp 45.0 °F Partly Cloudy
Wind : South at 11.5 MPH (10 KT) Humidity : 83 %
Pressure : 1014.5 mb
Weather Forecast
Friday, November 19th - 6:30pm

Whew! Things finally calming down. Plenty of cold rain showers today Portland Airport has picked up 1.39" of rain. That's a lot but shy of the record of 1.99 that goes all the way back to 1946. We'll continue to see showers tonight and again today. Snow levels will remain quite low about 1500 feet. Some heavier showers might briefly drive snow levels down to the 1000 foot level.

The low pressure center off the coast will track south over the next 48 hours. As it moves south it will also take our chances of precipitation with it. Temperatures will remain very cold for this time of year but should be mostly dry. I think the chance of really low elevation snow will be slim at best.

In the mountains expect another 4 to 6 inches of snow tonight. A Winter Weather Advisory remains posted for the Coast Range and Cascades until midnight. Locally we might see another .25" of rain overnight.

Tonight's low 39

Friday's high 46

How is dew formed?

A) It rained during the night.
B) got there from a flood.
C) Elves painted dew onto the Earth's surface.
D) There was too much water vapor in the air, so some condensed onto leaves and the ground.
