Weather Forecast
Thursday, November 18th - 6:50 am

After more than 1.5" of rain since yesterday... the weather calms to scattered showers around the valley. However, the potent front is east of us...creating heavy snow over the Cascades this morning. More than a foot of new snow fell overnight..and another foot is possible today. A Winter Storm Warning is posted for the region. Scattered showers.. and a low snow level stays around the area. Our snow level is generally above 1500 feet- but could drop at times..especially during our cold nights this weekend. Daytime highs will be near 47 degrees. Overnight lows drop into the upper 30s.

Colder air.. more of an "modified arctic" airmass... is on the way for the first part of next week. If moisture is still around.. snow is possible right down to the valley floor. HOWEVER, most models are now converging on drier conditions.. just a cold and period ahead. We'll see how it all shakes out.
