Liars are good like that. They can convince you of anything.

Anyone having insider knowledge of this knows it's not going to go well and will put on a smiley face to give the impression they are not worried. Deep down inside they know things aren't going to go as well as they hoped it would.

To simply give up shows you are guilty so they go on like nothing has happened.

I seriously think people are trying to convince themselves their money has not been stolen bu in reality it basically has.
