The data VRTX is speaking of are deductive and stem from the omission of ribavirin rather than the omission of IFN.

Ok - but that is a weak "suggestion" of efficacy (to use their word). It assumes either:

a) no synergistic effects between Rib and Ifn - known not to be true (Rib does almost nothing without IFN)

OR

b) Rib will be equally synergistic with DAA as it is with IFN. (Possible - but...)
