jtdiii: Not so!!! The evidence is VERY stong that Alfred Falk is certainly related to Helmut Falk, Sr.
I posted a lot of detail about this on RB over a year ago. However, the main factor is that Fred's first job was at DH Technology - a business founded by Helmut Falk, Sr. and later sold.
IMO Alfred is Helmut's son, probably youger than Helmut Falk, Jr.
Anyone can see that Fred never had the qualifications to be appointed President and CEO of e.Digital. Those who belive Fred is unrelated should ask about Putnam about the additional "coincidence" of Fred working for Helmut at the beginning of his career when he was a junior college drop-out. There clearly is a connection that can not be denied.
If Fred was "instrumental in its successful start-up," it can not be denied that at minimum Fred and Helmut knew each other.

Mr. Falk was appointed President and Director of e.Digital in January 1997 and on July 1, 1998 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Mr. Falk's appointment to President, he served the company as Vice President, Business Development and Vice President OEM and International Sales. Before joining e.Digital, he served Resources Internationale as Director of U.S. Sales from 1993 - 1995. For the eight years prior to 1993, Mr. Falk was the Manager of OEM Sales and Technology Licensing for Personal Computer Products, Inc.
