Weather Forecast
Tuesday, November 9th - 8:30 am
Wet, gray and cold weather ahead for the rest of the day. As a front moves through the Pacific Northwest, the weather pattern turn blustery. Rain, wind and mountain snow are all part of today's forecast. Look for .50 to 1" of rain west of the Cascades...with strong wings along the coast this morning. Gusts near 55 mph are possible...calming in the afternoon to 30 mph. Valley residents will see frequent waves of rain and highs around 49. (Brrr) Significant snow arrives in the Cascades... up to 18" possible in the next 24 hours. Travelers will likely need chains to get over the passes later today.
Tomorrow, a ridge of high pressure temporarily ends showers. The weather turns partly sunny by afternoon with daytime highs near 53. Veterans Day starts out dry..but we could see some light rain passing through late in the afternoon. Highs will remain in the 50s.
