It is possible the SEC has suspended trading to fully investigate the claims of abussive short selling of EIGH and the claims that there were more than 2 times the available shares being held by investors than the amount of shares possible to be held.

Once again, you couldn't be more wrong. The SEC would never suspend a stock to "investigate claims of abusive short selling".

In this case, you must have never bothered to read the SEC's suspension order. They specifically stated why they suspended the stock and it had nothing to do with short selling. It had to do with Monk's Den and EIGH lies about paying a dividend.

the SEC made very clearly why the stock was suspended , they also stated ''among other things'' imo they had an eye on these shells for a while otherwise it would have take longer to suspend EIGH

IMO, the SEC's move to suspend trading on EIGH, immediately the morning after the company had put out the newsletter aluding to a very well described enormous naked short position lingering in this stock means only one thing... The SEC is investigating EIGH and will be doing it thoroughly and will most certainly be digging very deep into the brokerages to locate this naked short position and all the accounts which are short with air shares..

If this is not done by the SEC I will continue to believe that the institutions which are put in place to protect the investors are failing in a lamentable way..

The clear proof brought forward by the company to inform its investors of what had been compiled during their audit of the stock will most certainly weigh in the balance when the SEC look into this. If EIGH management are able to demostrate no wrong doing , then the SEC will turn its investigation to the NSS issue within the stock and I do hope that they force a cover of all this air that was sold to us for months by these criminal market makers.
