#2515 RE: TeakScam #2514

When we contacted them years ago, there was
no product for sale.

so.... contact them again and see what happens... I do not have the money to afford their products, and I would agree wholeheartedly that not having product readily available seriously affects their credibility, but I do not believe Raleo is a sham. tell ya what, you go down to Costa Rica and have a look for yourself. I did.

"It's very simple to verify they are not real.
Ask to visit the warehouse and watch the mumbo
jumbo get spewed like diarrhea. "

well, I'll disagree here, verifying something isn't real can't be done by verbal diarrhea from TATF. ... if TATF says that something exists, then it should be verifiable by actually going there and seeing product. but if they can't give you a street address, or don't want you coming to the warehouse, that doesn't mean that a warehouse doesn't exist... though it *could* mean the warehouse doesn't exist

as far as I know, their products are very much 1-off pieces that sell for exhorbitant sums of money.... I am not there yet in my career to afford such things, so someone here on the board that has that kind of money can inquire about such a product and verify if they exist or not

I don't think there is a warehouse, though there could be, but it certainly doesn't have to be in the USA, based on the custom nature of their products, as far as I know, they really don't have much that is considered "stock" ... though I did mention this to Steve that having stock products available through ebay or something like that would increase credibility, he didn't listen to me

one thing about your statement is true, you will never meet another person like me, I am different from everyone else on this planet, as are you.

I am anxious about nothing, and I am think clearly and with a level head.

If you actually analyze what this company has done, or have spent as much time on it as I have, you will simply end up confused, rather than coming to the conclusion of scam.

three questions,

do you own trees?

how did you find this board?

what is your intention of coming here?

yep... man up

#2516 RE: TeakScam #2514

I concur with Mattyo; I am not convinced that it was (or is) a scam. A bad investment, yes. A scam?, not yet. I have collected too much real evidence to suggest otherwise. Now, I am definitely not encouraging others to invest; to date, a good investment it is not but there is strong evidence that it is not a scam.

1. Trees exist
2. Raleo exists
3. Significant investment has been made into infrastructure and some (albiet we can confirm only a very few) have received small distributions. Yes, I have personnally confirmed all above facts.

Having said that, there are many other issues with an investment in TATF that have long since been delineated on this board. Unless/until, significant distributions can be documented, this is NOT a wise investment.

Regardless of whether or not it is a scam, obtaining one's investment back, is not legally feasible unless one can document a basis for doing so (incompentence alone aint against the law in Costa Rica and even if a scam could be substantiated legally, the cost of pursuing is only worth the time and money for large investors). Unless, others want to band together (that has been tried here as well), it is not worth the trouble. It is however worth the trouble to continue this board. Those of us who have invested may not be able to viably recover but, if so, at least the presence of this board may help some other unsuspecting potential investor(s).
