I saw Greyhounds that were Senior Citizens, Spinal and Pelvic bones showing...just old age...{:>(((. One person told me they can't race after becoming 5 yrs old. I had asked because her dog seemed young, " Did he/she have to leave because of a injury ?" Nope, once they reach a certain age, they have to, or should Retire them...
yup.. we used to do a lot of fostering of Greys right of the track.. They have to be taught everything...stairs, carpet, glass doors, you name it. Takes em about two days :)
