LBSR uranium prospects occur in the form of pipes. These are easy to mine and can be started speedily. Further, there are no really legitimate environmental concerns in this part of the Arizona Strip, though there are unfounded, emotional concerns among some relative to the proximity of the Grand Canyon.

The typical environmental concern (regarding uranium mining) is related to ground water pollution. At this location, ground water is not encountered 'til something like 3,000 feet below the surface, too far down to compromise mining these brecciate pipes.

And, for what it's worth, these claims could well be spun off into a separate company when conditions are appropriate following the dust settling in Alaska.
