How much uranium has LBSR explored, discovered, mined, produced, or anything in the last 10 years?

In Europe and all through Russia and China 100 ds of Nuclear power plants of latest generation are being planned and built. France is still leading with AREVA. I was listening to an interview with Areva this summer and nuclear energy is practically the cleanest and also became the safest. The amount of energy in comparisson to the imput is huge, with no emissions. There are just 5% of geological waste(recycled), that are put back to the earth, which has basically lower radiation then uranium ora. Another information I got is that Chineese are making very high bids all around the world, to get energy resources (specially uranium mines) in their posession. Personally I know f 1 mine like that and the bid is just enormous. I think US should hurry up! Energy resources are the key and alternative once are just not as efficiant as nuclear, plus the production of suncells causes anormous polution. All this is very imporat f teh future development of LBSR, I think potential is huge.

SGR,

LBSR has not proven any mineable reserves of uranium on the Arizona pipes project. And, there is a little glitch in their plans to do so.....

"In July, 2009, newly appointed Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar, issued a Notice of Proposed Withdrawal for approximately 1 million acres. The purported purpose of the withdrawal was “to protect the Grand Canyon watershed from adverse effects of locatable hard rock mineral exploration and mining.” (Federal Register Notice, July 21, 2009). A two-year moratorium was placed on all exploration, new claims, exploration drilling and mine development in northern Arizona so as to further “study the problem.”

I wasn’t able to reply yesterday because I’m limited to 2 posts per day but yes I’m from Europe. More and more people here are in favor for nuclear energy with Angela Merkel from Germany being a big advocate for nuclear energy. It’s cheap, reliable, clean and unless they find a good alternative energy source that’s able to meet the world’s growing high energy demand, the ones protesting won’t be able to hold this back.

According to some experts the energy sector hasn’t fully recovered yet from the crisis and particularly the nuclear energy sector is a good bet to put your money in. Ofcourse they could be wrong like many times before. Let’s not forget who plunged us into a world wide financial crisis.
