There certainly have been some grandiose assumptions made based upon the complaint alone, so I will dare to assume that his departure was for the benefit of the company and it's shareholders. :O The Horror.
I have worked for a few start up companies, including one that was acquired by a larger publicly traded company during my tenure and am very familiar with the challenges of staffing and the turmoil of companies in transition. These things are expected and happen all the time. However it does make for some great drama on a stock message blog. :)
Having re-read the complaint for the eighth time i see some statements that look questionable (red flags) to me (reads like he might have screwed up his part of the term sheet and spent too much money on travel expenses), although It could have been any number of things that led to his dismissal. I too will await further info before jumping to any conclusions.
