Don't forget the old adage: "buy on rumor; sell on news."

I am highly doubtful of MM manipulation. There isn't some seedy guy slouched over a computer scheming to keep the price down. MMs use computer algorithms and programs to set the markets for them. Sure, maybe once in a while someone checks a security in pinkyland to see how the algorithm is running, but I've found that MMs just tend to be an obvious scapegoat when pps does not behave the way shareholders want.

The other villian people jump to is short sellers. I've been impressed that folks on this board have not gone there to the extent I have seen on other boards. EPGL is not on the Reg SHO list the last I saw, so there's no shorting problem. The daily short sales report can include buys reported as sells so it's misleading.

All-in-all, I'm impressed with the general discussion of EPGL on this board. Keep up the construcvtive discourse. If you want to see examples of how not to be just check out 90% of the other boards.

Good job folks!

Yes, we both saw how the MMs can control (to the investor's disadvantage) the pps. HTDS is a classic case. I too expected much more, and considering the good news (unless it were all lies?) one would have expected the pps to rise accordingly. From my investing experience, the penny stocks are subject to the whims of the MMs, not the news nor the investing public's desire to see the rise in pps. And since the pps is controlled by the buys vs sells, if the MMs have a controlling percentage of shares, they control it. What we are seeing from EPGL now is typical of what I've seen with other penny stocks when GOOD NEWS is out. It's like the old addage, "no good deed goes unpunished". However, as long as the good news is TRUE news, and EPGL has the contracts it claims it has with WebMD and the USMC and possibly the Army, the good news will eventually reveal itself in a realistic rise in pps that will be the best news for us investors.
