Just got a call from my broker advising my open buy orders for EIGH were canceled and would need to be re-entered "because of a pending cash dividend". I asked why they would cancel a customer's open buys as a result of a dividend, to which she replied "because the stock price is likely to change dramatically". Tick tock.
