you may be misunderstanding the mechanics of Rule 144 filings... just because a 144 document is "registered" at 2.7 million shares in a rule 144 selling period (1% is the boilerplate amount) does not mean that is what was actually sold. if you look at the next filing (90 days) it shows that they have actually sold very little - given there have been millions in (cash) loans made/converted at a higher share price I don't its likely that think they need the few thousand in proceeds. slowly adding to the float would make more sense... JMHO
