Kisamura, are you sure 1.2 will be available end of the year? Check out this presentation from Intel. I realize you mentioned Dell, but I don't think Dell would be far off on TPM1.2 timeline from Intel:

http://www.intel.com/platforms/desktop/vision/LyndonFlyer.pdf

Lyndon Showcase Platforms
Supporting next-generation Intel® processors and next-generation Intel® chipsets
Look for these systems in spring 2005, beginning with the Intel Developer Forum.

Corporate PC
Mitac*
■ Intel® Integrated Graphics
■ Intel Next-Generation GbE LAN
■ Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2
■ Intel® High Definition Audio
■ picoBTX Motherboard Form Factor
■ Small desktop/tower system profile

Small/Medium Business PC
Intel® Reseller Products Group
■ Intel® Integrated Graphics
■ Intel Next-Generation GbE LAN
■ Intel® Wireless Connect Technology
■ Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2
■ Intel® Matrix RAID Technology
■ microBTX Motherboard Form Factor
■ Small Tower System Profile

This PDF shows two Intel systems platforms to "look for in spring 2005". So I would assume that these will be available shortly afterward for system developers.

IDF is in the spring, in two weeks. This will be where they are unveiled. TPM 1.2 also will issue in LaGrande and other supporting hardware (and software). So demos and working product will require the full system to be up and running and tested. I think mid-year at the latest, personally, if not even sooner. It is more an issue of when Infineon, or NSM will have their TPM1.2 chips ready, as the stand-alone STMicro chip may be too expensive.

Kisamura......i don't agree.

You miss the point imo......
DELL has integrated TPM ver 1.1b's into
their Mainstay products.Millions of these
products will be sold all containing a
1.1b TPM.
The Only question is how many of those
millions buy Wave's ETS,KTM & ACM software.
