Philly made the disco sound respectable. I'm not ashamed to say I love disco, as long as it had soul, good arrangements, and was sexy. And I don't mind saying this as a straight white male from Chi-Town. Ha! The fact that my girlfriend "gets it" makes it all the better. I always said, if my girl don't get TP (Teddy Pendergrass), then she ain't got soul...and if she ain't got soul, then it ain't gon' last. =)
