The system has to allow people to become wealthy enough so that they can hire people to work and put more money into the economy... The individuals at the low end of the income scale don't provide this investment for growth.

"The individuals at the low end don't provide investment for growth " .. That also works in the other direction
..Labor is the fruit of wealth. That's always been so in most cases. . ALSO

how does that incorrect information you just provided jibe with the report that came out recently which showed the wealthiest
companies are the ones who laid off the most people and moved off shore ? Who are they providing wealth for ?
foreign countries and shareholders .. . We need to tax their soxes off

And ..more incorrect information here ..

If we have this wonderful system of "equality" ( Venezuela ) where no one is allowed to make more than anyone else then we will end up like Venezuela.

That statement is a flat out LIE. go back and read my post! you have quoted it incorrectly.

The entire information in your post is based on lies.

First, no one here, myself included has ever said .. People cannot become wealthy, yet your post assumes that. Seeing as no one has ever stated that here .. I wonder if you hear voices? ...... basically that is the assumption of your entire post ..therefore your post is based on a false premise to begin with.

dickmilde:"But the problem is that if you don't allow people ( corporations ) to be successful then you won't have any growth in employment. The system has to allow success"

But your "system" doesn't allow anyone else to be "successful" it only makes the one that has it to gain more. That's why big "corp's" pay big bonus to the CEO and shit to the hired people. Look around at the Hugh Bonus's being paid out. Has anyone else got a raise if they even have a job. Nope they got pissed on. Your system looks good on paper but doesn't take in greed.

Your Question:
"If you had $300,000 and are willing to invest it by starting a small business, how much would you expect to earn each year so that you would consider it worthwhile?

I would hope to make good % on my investment. But I would also like to be able to pay the people working for me a decent living wage. Enough that I would not be checking the bottom line to see how much I could squeeze out of some poor slob.
