Well, I agree with you that there are plenty of examples of obscene bonuses, in many cases for having failed.
I have to disagree with your statement that "my system" doesn't allow anyone else to be successful... You have to be smart and know where and when to take that next step.
The typical response will be that the guy at the bottom is never given a chance to take that first step. Well, first of all, not everyone wants to do the work that is required to be successful. If you're not willing to do 20 hour days for an extended period of time then forget it... you'll need to be happy working for a weekly pay check.
On the other hand 5 years ago a guy started doing lawn care in my neighborhood... he pushed the lawn mower. Now he has 3 employees, has since married and is able to take occasional vacations... He works hard. In an other 5 years he may be the one that the liberals on this board want to tax to the extent that he will stop hiring people and being an asset to the economy.
I also work hard for my money... I'm tired of the assholes taking it from me and using it to buy votes.
